Ahhh! Snow days are here! W00t! Don't ya love them?
After much speculation over the past 2 days, it's official! We're having a snow day today!
*extra sleep
*extra game time
*time to catch up
*hot chocolate
My mood has now officially turned to "happy" =) Going back to bed now! Muahahaha <3

No fair! Don't you live in the NE? How much snow do you need to have school called off? It seems like here in the midwest, we get just enough to get everyone to drive 5MPH, but never enough to call school/work.

We had snow at the weekend. It only lasted for like 4 hours but in the UK people seem to forget how to drive when the road turns white...
I want a tank, complete with tracks, so I can just run over anyone / anything that drives too slowly.

Dwinx! Ha! How much snow do we need? It really depends...could even be 2-3 inches if the conditions are just right, schools WILL close. The problem is not so much the snow...it's the school buses that need to transport the students to and from school. The area here is VERY hilly and curvy. Makes for the most dangerous driving conditions even with 3 inches of snow. Black ice is the worst! The've closed down because of that too!

Schools here don't close unless there is 8 inches overnight. I had one snow day in my 3.5 years of highschool, only because it snowed 13 inches overnight...

Labec: How about power outages??? That would be the equivalent to our "snow days"!!!! Already had 2 since this summer.
